Andrea Byrne (Investigator/Co-founder)
From as far back as Andrea can remember she has had a variety of unexplainable experiences, for example like a lot of kids she doted on her Granddad, chatting and laughing away with him every day, but her Granddad had died when she was just 5 months old.
Then when her family owned a hotel up in the North of Scotland, she would constantly be seen talking to people who no one else could see or describing areas of the hotel that no longer existed or events that took place long before she was born.
These gifts have now since faded, but she is still from time to time slightly sensitive to the Spiritual side. Preferring to think of herself as an Open-Minded Skeptic, she is passionately searching for that definite piece of hard evidence to prove there is an afterlife, something beyond the realms of our current consciousness, the truth is out there after all.
Always looking for the logical explanations first, Andrea very much adopts a balanced approach to her research. Being a typical Virgo, she possesses all the traits - analytical, perfectionist and a strict eye for even the tiniest detail, which is invaluable in her role as an investigator and team researcher.
Ewan Irvine (Medium/Co-founder)
As a child, Ewan experienced many strange happenings that could not be explained logically. It was only at the age of 19 that he began to realise that he had the ability of Mediumship. Having developed these abilities with Portobello Spiritualist Church, Edinburgh, he has become a regular platform demonstrator within the UK and Ireland.
Ewan also has a great interest in the Paranormal and has used his Mediumship abilities within many haunted locations. Ewan regularly says that in using his gift in such locations, it is like stepping back in time and meeting first-hand some of the characters and people who once resided or were a part of that location long ago.
Throughout his career Ewan has appeared in many television shows, had numerous articles published in a variety of publications and is was the resident Medium for Scotland's Talk107 radio station on The Psychic & The Skeptic .
Ewan was the winner of the "Open Platform" Mediumship demonstration at the National Spiritual Connextions Awards 2009. This was out of 360 applications received.
Scott Drinkel AITC MAPIT (Investigator)
The whole subject of the Paranormal interests Scott greatly, he loves investigating hauntings and the huge field of Cryptozoology.
Scott has been interested in the Paranormal since he was young, and has been actively studying it now for about 17 years.
Scott has experienced a great deal over the years that he cannot categorically explain and several of these experiences have now turned his interest into quite a passion!
Although for the most part he does believe in the Paranormal, as an Investigator he remains quite skeptical and works tirelessly with other professional and disciplined individuals to try and find that elusive piece of 'proof' one way or another.
Roberta Gordon (Medium)
When Roberta first came into the Movement in 1982 she was very much a novice, unsure of the gifts the Spirit world said she had since the early age of 3, both in hearing and seeing Spiritual things.
Roberta started as a healer, opening her first meeting place in the Lorne Day Centre in Leith, Edinburgh 1985/86, where she slowly developed into a Clairvoyant Medium traveling in the early and late nineties to places such as Iceland, Germany and Japan.
Today Roberta is more at home building a meeting place in Prestonpans Town Hall on a Monday evening, which takes in evenings of Clairvoyance and working with up and coming Mediums.
Roberta has often been asked what her philosophy in life is. She can only say "take every day as it comes, don't be afraid to be a free thinking person, we can never reach the point where we know everything. Always try in your everyday life to show a kindness to someone and know love is unconditional and life is eternal". This her philosophy at the present time, but Roberta knows that her inner-self (Spirit) is forever changing.
Roberta is a qualified Healer, Spirit Assist. Healer, Numerologist, Clairvoyant Medium, Physical Medium and an Ordain Spiritualist Minister .
